BROCA
BROCA (2024), directed by Poppi Fella Pellegrino, is a short experimental documentary on the physical consequences of trauma that I edited as a thesis project in my fourth year at Sheridan College. Winner of the People's Choice Award for Best Editing at the 2024 Sheridan Screen Arts Awards.

This is a paper I wrote for my fourth-year Canadian Storytellers class, in which I analyze Atom Egoyan's first three films from the 80s - Next of Kin, Family Viewing, and Speaking Parts, as distinctly Canadian works that speak to a larger, listless national cultural identity reflected in contemporary works.
