Alex Darling
Alex Darling was born in Toronto, Ontario on July 4th, 2002, and is an up-and-coming Canadian director, editor, writer and film composer.
On his YouTube channel EYEWASH, which he co-runs with fellow filmmaker Hannah Bennett, his short films span many genres, including drama, horror, thriller, and coming-of-age. Alex's work has been shown at the Sundance Film Festival and has amassed hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube. His films often deal with experimental, visceral, and surreal subject matter. He has a natural passion for storytelling and wishes to use the medium to further the specificity of emotional and thematic communication.
Alex has a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Television with Honours from Sheridan College. He specialized in editing and directing.
